Gaetano Vaccaro grew up in the restaurant business. At 17, he worked as a barista in his family’s brick oven pizzeria and café in Queens and grew his responsibilities over several years, ultimately managing the establishment. Keeping it in the family, next he managed Pesce e Pasta in New York City for his uncle and then became managing partner of Vespa restaurant on the Upper East Side, also opening Italian wine bar Bar Vespa during this time. Gaetano then joined Quality Branded and the opening team of Quality Italian. Gaetano has a natural passion for food and wine that he is able to draw from daily in his role, leading the restaurant.
